Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Klaas ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and delete information when you use our social media scheduling service.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and social media account credentials (OAuth tokens). We also collect usage data such as posts created, scheduling patterns, and feature usage.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve our service, publish content to your connected social accounts on your behalf, and communicate with you about your account.
Google User Data
If you sign in with Google or connect a Google service (such as YouTube, Gmail, or Google Calendar), Klaas accesses only the data needed to provide the feature you enabled: your basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) for sign-in; your YouTube channel information and the ability to upload videos you schedule; and, if you connect them, your Gmail messages and Calendar events for the inbox and scheduling features. We use Google user data solely to provide these user-facing features. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Klaas's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell, transfer, or disclose Google user data to third parties. We share data only with the service providers that operate our infrastructure, and only to the extent needed to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and Stripe (payment processing — Stripe never receives your social account data or Google user data). When you publish a post, the content you composed is transmitted to the social platforms you selected (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) — that is the purpose of the service and happens only at your direction.
Beyond that, we disclose personal data only if required by law (e.g., a valid legal request) or as part of a business transfer (e.g., a merger or acquisition), in which case this policy continues to apply. No third party receives Google user data for advertising, data brokerage, or any purpose other than operating Klaas.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as your account is active and the related feature is in use. OAuth tokens (including Google OAuth tokens) are deleted immediately when you disconnect the corresponding account from Klaas; you can disconnect any connected account at any time from your settings. When you delete your Klaas account, or ask us to delete it, all of your personal data — including all Google user data — is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by law (e.g., billing records).
To request deletion, use our data deletion page or email contact@klaas.pro. You can also revoke Klaas's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account security settings; revoking access invalidates the tokens we hold.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We do not store your social media passwords.
